The 2WIN VulkanFlow reed valve box stands out with its W-shaped profile, which creates four passages for the intake of the air-fuel mixture, thus reducing turbulence. It is equipped with carbon reed blades that have a thickness of 0.28 mm.
On Derbi engines, it allows for the release of the rear transfer and increases the volume, which is particularly beneficial for 70cc and 80cc configurations. For AM6 engines, it offers a larger opening of the reeds, resulting in a significant performance gain. The reed supports are vulcanized, ensuring better resistance to rebounds and longer durability.
This reed valve box requires no modifications to the casings. The CNC machined base and the design of the reed supports ensure high heat resistance, thus avoiding the problems encountered with many other plastic reed valve boxes, which are prone to deformation and the resulting loss of performance.
